Functional Assesment of Being Late
Most people who know me know that I am always late. Only I really precede my behavior. I guess not planning very well ahead of time and underestimating the actual length of time that things take, also contribute to it. I also procrastinate alot and work late at work and try to make up hours sleeping. The behavior doesn't achieve alot. I'm always getting in trouble for being late- whether it be for work or school. It does allow me more time to achieve other things though, especially sleep. So I guess in a way it allows me more time to relax. This habit can be related to smoking because a) I've grown accustomed to being late just like smoking becomes routine for smokers. Being late is routine for me.) and b) It does allow me to relax and sleep longer, where many smokers claim that smoking relaxes them. A good example is that I need to leave for work in a half hour, but first need to shower get changed brush my teeth and let Velma out. So adios.
